Well, that's good.

Yesterday, though, I saw a segment on "Good Morning, America" about how Santa's too fat and he's showing a bad example to all the little kiddies and we should make him skinnier.  They had dr's on there saying "A man of that weight would have a high risk for diabetes, heart problems, blah blah blah..."

He gets his laugh back, but has to lose 50 lbs...

And cut out all those cookies. After all, with people switching to more green heating methods chimneys are getting smaller, so Santa had better get on Tae Bo.

Try picturing Santa and Tae Bo, it's good for a good laugh when you get slightly hysterical.

Hasn't this doctor ever seen "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer"? Mrs. Claus says it right on the show: "Who wants a skinny Santa?"

Santa is fantasy. Sounds like the doc and GMA could use a little more of it.

I don't know. The extra weight doesn't seem to be slowing Santa down. (Mildly naughty language)

I require a reminder as to why raining arcane destruction is not an appropriate response to all of life's indignities . . . . . . . Quickly please, before they are out of range.

I have a blog now! (it has bad words)

I think the people who thought that one up (were they actually thinking?) need to lose 50 lbs from right  between their ears.  Talk about fat heads!
I've never knitted anything I could recognize when it was finished.  Actually, I've never finished anything, much to my family's relief.

Don't they have anything better to do? Y'know, like focus on real people?

Nonsense.  Santa does NOT have to use the chimney.  He has a key to every front door in the whole world.

I know this for sure, because when I was 7 my mother told me so.  I had expressed concern over the fact that we didn't have a chimney.
I'm the grammarian against whom your mother warned you.
