please ask if you want my stuff
snoopygirl:
This set me off today. Now maybe I am cranky as of late but this wasn't right at all. I keep cds in my room. My family and I have the same taste in music. My brother wanted some of my cds to put on his Ipod. No problem. Did he ask. No, he went in my room and took them. My room is private and if I was going in his room I would knock. And I would never take anything from his room without asking.
However, when I told him thats allright you wanted to borrow my cds but please ask next time my mom flew off the handle. She said I was being rude. They are my cds. And I dont like people borrowing my stuff. When my mom borrows my cds she claims them then gets mad when I take them upstairs to my room to listen to them. They are my cds.

Twik:
Buy a Sharpie, and start labelling them as yours. That should at least end arguments about who they belong to.
IndianInlaw:
It sounds like you set reasonable limits and they don't respect your boundaries.
You are right and they are wrong.
CocoCamm:
Put a lock on the door.
