How's it goin'?
Big changes, hopefully good, but *very* new, so it's too early to tell.
My DSS came to live with us last week. We've gotten him into school in our district (today was his first day), and we're going to be focusing on helping him with his schooling (he's smart, but easily distracted, and not terribly inclined to exert himself unless he sees an immediate payout). My younger son thinks this is fantastic, he adores his big brother.
My job security is about as high as it can be in this job, we just got word of a new project that pretty much ensures I can stay through May. So that's a relief.
Quit smoking (well, mostly. I occasionally backslide in high-stress situations, but I've cut back from 1/2 a pack a day to 1-3 a week).
Hit a milestone with weightloss, I've lost 20 pounds. My goal for the next three months is to maintain my current weight, while I complete quitting smoking (the last two times I've quit, I put on 40 pounds (each!) that stayed long after I took up smoking again).
So, I'd have to say overall good
