Commuter Kindness
« on: December 17, 2007, 09:51:51 AM »
To the driver who I passed while walking on the sidewalk on my way to work a little while ago:

Thank you for backing up and allowing me to pass directly across your path - it was snowy and icy, and had you not backed up  (into the parking lot you were exiting from) I would have had to walk around you.  While this is normally not a big deal, with all the snow and ice that has fallen in this region recently, I would have been forced into a busy and icy street, not to mention having to climb over 17 inches of snow.

Thank you, I appreciate your kindness.
