This is an actual and weekly conversation around here:

Darling Hubby: "I'm on my way home, Should be there in about forty-five minutes."

AnnaB, foaming at the mouth: "If you don't bring chocolate, do not, I repeat, do not come home."

Which reminds me, I need to call him and have the above-mentioned conversation. After reading this thread, I'm seriously jonesing for chocolate.

I used to belong to a local forum.... now defunct.... and every time I would post something cute or mildly funny  (I play a dumb blond very well on the internet)   the male posters would "reward" me with (cyber) chocolate Easter Bunny ears.

Its been five years and we moved to a new forum, but I still get my bunny ears when I'm a good pixie.   Everyone knows a pixie can resist everything except chocolate.... and temptation!      I am so spoiled!

In real life, Hubby buys me chocolates when I'm a good girl..... or just anytime I want it.... I'm spoiled in real life  too!

Did y'all know they make a S'mores candy bar?   I found them at the local mini-mart.... and they be GOOD!

Yeah, I've seen those S'mores candy bars...

But I'm a purist when it comes to s'mores...they just don't taste right to me unless I melted the chocolate and the marshmallows on the graham cracker over a campfire with someone playing "If I Had A Hammer" and "The Circle Game" on a guitar.  ;)
I'm away from sanity right now...please leave a message after the beep.

The marshmallows must be crispy, too.

The Cadbury chocolate mini-eggs just came out.  The multicolored ones with sugar shells with the texture of emery-boards.  I love them!
Heheh, a funny story about Mini Eggs:

When I was in college, I knew this guy in my major a couple of classes ahead of me who was obsessed with the things. He (and I can see this) thought they were the greatest candy ever made, and would get very excited around Easter each year when they went back into production.

Well, one year I went up to our academic department and found this guy doing some homework and eating Mini-Eggs. I thought this was odd, seeing as how it was mid-January. I said, "Hm, are they putting Min-Eggs out already?" He said, "No, these are from last year. I've been saving them."  :P  Now, THAT'S a dedicated Mini-Eggs freak!

I was glad to see them get issued before Valentine's Day this year, so maybe this guy can buy fresh ones without having to dip into his 9-month-old stash!

Did you go to college with my DH?  ;D

I stock up on the mini-eggs before Easter season ends, but they certainly don't last 9 months!  >:D I've e-mailed Cadbury asking them whether they'd consider doing something like mini-eggs year-round, maybe change the shape to a sphere when it's not Easter.  I never got a reply, let alone a coupon.   :'(

You do know they freeze, right?

Of course..... that requires having some left to go in the freezer..... I've never actually tested the freezer thing....

I've never tried the freezer thing, either. If it's chocolate, it usually doesn't last that long in my grubby little paws.  >:D

I love chocolate, and I really need to watch what I eat.  I have found that if I have a small bit (and this is where the 'fun size' really is worth it), I'm good for the rest of the day.  It's enough to curb my craving.

The Circle Game!  I love that song!

Thanks Moonbunny!  I'll head there this weekend.  And I have set my sites on another chocolate dessert.  My parents are visiting in a week and a half and the restaurant we're taking them to just happens to have an amazing pastry chef.  She even works behind a bar so you can watch the yummy creations being made.  If that fails I'm heading over to Finale (amazingv desert place) and getting a creation made.
