I've thought really long and hard about this, even referred to the Forum Rules, and it isn't addressed so I'm just going to have to jump right in.
I'm calling Shenanigans.

Later V was talking to L about a joke she played on me because she wanted to "see what would happen". L had to ask her to elaborate. She purposely switched my soda with the same, non diet flavor. L went straight to Dr. and told her this. I had left for the day by this time. L and J called me and told me what had happened. Dr. has yet to decide what to do since this was only suppose to be a joke... not that she agrees with it.

(I) haven't heard from Dr. This is an eye clinic. She is new and learning to be the vision therapist. (does the exercises that the Dr. wants done.) She has been a bit of a thorn in our sides. What I think is interesting is A) the diet soda was great, I took it home once it was found (Diet cherry vanilla Dr. pepper) B) if she gets tossed I most likely will get her job and a raise.
Um, what? Why would you be looking for soda that wasn't missing?

She stuffed my bottle into the bag with the receipt. So when my bottle was found so was the receipt.
Big fan of CSI!
Me too!
The highlighted part in and of itself is telling. Look at part B...
Has anyone Googled Vision Therapists?
A licensed Vision Therapist is already an Optometrist. It's a specialization of the profession. What's being suggested here is that (to paraphrase) the Dental Hygienist is training to be an Oral Surgeon by "practicing" on the real Oral Surgeon's clients. If I were spending hundreds (or thousands - really) of dollars on treatment, I'd like to be sure my practitioner is qualified. Now Lizetterose is suggesting that she'd fill that position. I must have missed the post where Lizetterose said either of them were licensed Opticians.

And that is my biggest fear and her biggest loop hole. I have been chatting with my coworkers and no one has any "proof" that she knew or didn't know. And Dr would be taking the money out of her paychecks. That is why she would have the two weeks to keep working. With the way my class schedules is I can easily avoid her.

Co worker I just talked to told me something that might make her quake in fear.
She is working up to a divorce. Something like this may cost her custody.

I did. I wanted to at least wait and see what Dr. was going to do. Then I called my Cousin and we both talked to the cops in the city I work in.

The office is closed today so no one will be together till tomorrow. I was not there to see her arrested. Cousin saw to that. I am trying to keep a low profile and off her radar. I found out that she has a part time job as a waitress! Yikes!!
1) We know what the Doctor wanted to do, Lizetterose wrote at January 16, 2008, 10:33:24 AM:
Dr. made a strange deal with her. I kinda like it. She either would press charges against V, or V just loses her job (two week notice) and has to pay me for my testing strips I had to use (About $1 a strip) plus a whole months worth of my medicine ($180). I was told that Dr. said "she" would not press charges but said nothing about me pressing charges. I do not know which was chosen yet.
I would rather have us deal with her our selfs rather then involving the court system.
I just see to many loop holes she can jump out of.
and
2) Don't you have to swear an affidavit to get someone arrested? I didn't think you could just "call it in" (To a FAMILY MEMBER) without any other police interview. THAT would have been an interesting post, yet it's missing. I mean, Lizetterose also wrote on January 16, 2008, 02:05:03 PM:
Made me feel better when I was doing the calling, ect. It helped me to do this. Cousin did suggest a RO, but not immediately. He said to wait and see what the DA does.

Cops have that bottle.
So it stands to reason there would have been a police visit to describe, rather than all the gossip about divorce, waitressing, etc. considering "The office is closed today so no one will be together till tomorrow."
I could go on, and if I am incorrect in my conclusions, I would love to be proven wrong. I will send flowers, make a public apology, and take my place in E-Hell.
But until then, I'm livin' in Missouri...
