I mis the ignore feature at the old site

I miss the email alert when someone responded to a post or post reply. I have a hard time remembering where I've left opinions so I have a hard time directly answering folks..so if I've missed you, sorry...wasn't intentional.
I hope I wasn't on your ignore list.... :-X

Yeah, I'm new here and hoping I'm not why you're looking for "ignore." That would be a bummer.

I, too, would like the ignore feature.

check the forum administration folder, it has been mentioned that the ignore feature will be included in the spring update...

and Auntie, there is an email alert notification option, both on the actual thread (notify) and in your user options.

I never used the ignore, but I really miss where it would pick up the thread where you last read.  I thought that was amazing.

Me, too.  I liked that feature.  And also the one that indicated which message you were responding to (message 51 in reply to message 24, for example).

That I miss... sometimes in a long thread, I'd read a post and think "How did we get on this tangent?"  I had relied on that "#51 in reply to #24" footnote to backtrack and see where it branched off, and the tangents would make more sense.

I have the same problem with remembering where I've given my two cents, but I just go through the threads page by page and can see where I've left my opinions because each thread has that little mark on it where I have replied to something.

I didn't even know that we didn't have the ignore feature anymore! So far no one here has gotten on my nerves enough that I have wanted to use it, but it still would be a nice option if ever needed in the future.

Having said that, I haven't really noticed the lack of ignore features. If I don't like something, I just skip over it. It is too much bother to put people/subjects on a list.
And what happens if the person you are currently ignoring has something good to say? You would miss it! :-X

Of course, you are free to ignore my opinion on this....
