What I hate is when my family and I are out together for dinner or whatever, my dh is sitting there at the table in the restaurant reading his emails on his blackberry. He was even on the phone once when the server was trying to take our order. I just about hit him.

What I hate is when my family and I are out together for dinner or whatever, my dh is sitting there at the table in the restaurant reading his emails on his blackberry. He was even on the phone once when the server was trying to take our order. I just about hit him.

Hate, hate and more hate.  Is he that important? Is the world going to fall apart if he turns the darn thing off for an hour?  My hubby WOULD NOT SURVIVE that night if he pulled that.  But my hubby also knows my deep HATE of all cell phones.

At my retail job, I answer the phone as well as take care of the fitting room.  Sometimes I'm counting out customers' clothes when the phone rings, and then I have to pause in my counting to take care of the phone call, and then go back to the customers.  I feel bad about that.

But I've seen coworkers talk on their cell phones while on their shift, and I don't understand WHY.  You're at work!
