I don't think I've been logged in for 34 minutes?
« on: December 08, 2006, 10:34:48 PM »
I don't know if I'm simply enjoying this forum too much or if the time clock is off.  I had indicated when I logged in that I wanted to be registered for an hour, and it logged me off.  It seemed like it wasn't near an hour, but I figured it was just my imagination.  Then when I logged in again, it told me that I had been on for 34 minutes.

Is there a glitch in the time clock or am I just enjoying myself too much?

When did this happen?  The new server the hosting provider put me seems to have problems and it went down again this afternoon around 3 pm EST, I believe.   You could have been "logged off" by the server going down.  I would also suggest clearing your internet temporary files any time you change a setting just in case you need to clear the cache of previously stored settings.

I posted immediately after it happened.  I hate to bother you with it.  After all the things that you need to do when working with a new software, this is hardly a critical problem, if indeed there is a problem at all.  I understand the server frustrations.  My office changed software for it's website a few months ago, and there are so many odd little things that happen in trying to make everything jive together.  I don't envy you in the least little bit when you tackled this project.  I'll take your advice and clear out my cache.  That most likely will solve the problem.

You're doing a marvelous job.  Thanks for working so hard to make this a pleasant (and functional  :)) forum.
