Time out
« on: December 08, 2006, 11:25:08 AM »
Does anyone else have your session time out before you have finished writing a post?

Am I just slow.

I have tried to find a way to change this and am missing it.

Thanks

I had this happen and it turned out Ehelldame was changing something at that moment so the forum shut down on me temporarily.  :(
It also could be the timer on the top of your screen when you log in. Mine is set to a session length of "forever". If yours is set to a short time, I think the forum will log you out when that time runs out.
You are only young once. After that you have to think up some other excuse.

Mine is set for 'forever' too.  It seems that if I go longer than 5 minutes because I have to think or I get interupted, I get a message when I post that my session has timed out and I have to send the post again.

It has happened several times and I have no trouble sending the post again, but I wondered if this was normal or a glitch.

Hmmm, must be a glitch.  ???
I take forever to write a post sometimes, but it doesn't log out on me.

Let's test this...

Nope, I took 5 minutes and it was fine.
