Just Lori:
I predict that Anthony will show up at Michael's party and make a huge play for Elizabeth, and she will release any of her remaining brain power so she can be with him happily ever after.

fklwmn:
I'm so blah on elizabeth since the whole Paul split. B/c Iknow she will end up back with either Antohny or Warren and... just NO!!!

*grumble grumble grumble*

extranormal:
I find myself hoping that somebody -- anybody -- will make a play for Deanna and she'll run off with him. Please, Dee, stop being such a pathetic doormat and take yourself and your kids far, far away from that a**waffle you married. The man spends every spare moment away from his family, he ditched you during a house fire to save his laptop, and instead of taking you for a well-deserved evening out, he's planning an adolescent BYOB bash with Weed. Run.

I'm way too invested in this strip.

hollasa:
from Michael's June 2004 letter:

--- Quote ---Our own contribution to the next generation is well, and far too active from my point of view. When I romantically accepted the role of Daddy, I was thinking swings, stories at bedtime and waiting for Santa on Christmas Eve. I have all that. It's the discipline part I wasn't prepared for and now that Meredith is well into her second year, she is telling me what to do and when she wants it done - not unlike my superiors at work, for heaven's sake! At least her tantrums are reasonable and obvious. I just wish they didn't happen in the aisles of grocery stores. With all the news about abusive parents, the last thing I want is to be seen dragging a flailing, wailing toddler out into the parking lot and giving her a piece of my mind. This is why traditional dads came home from work when the kids were happily feeding and being readied for bed. Yes, the good old days. I wish I'd been there. I'm sitting in Josef Weeder's attic as I write, shamelessly escaping my spousal duties. I have letters to answer and manuscripts to read, so I had better start working before I am "found out". If I gauge this right, I'll be done by baby's bedtime - which I love!
--- End quote ---

Run, Deanna, Run!

Maybe both Michael and Elizabeth can join Anthony in a rousing rendition of "I have no hoooome!" at the party?

Who thinks that there'll be a kiss between Anthony and Elizabeth at the party/kegger?

Please pass the Calgon:

I think something is going to go wrong with Michael's book contract. Yesterday's strip had Weed saying he'd have their Intellectual Property guy look over the contract. The letter he got from the publisher said "With a few adjustments we can include your book in our fall line-up". There was something else that gave me a bad feeling about the book deal but I can't find it now. I'm predicting the publisher wants "adjustments" Michael won't want to make to his manuscript. Cue big fight with Dee over walking away from $25,000 and a first refusal contract.
