There are others that are best talked about by those who have shared a similar experience and possibly want to get additional information as they are about to share that experience. Toilet training tips, pregnancy symptoms, and similar issues come to mind - but there are probably a lot of subjects that qualify.
That's a good one to bring up. Personally, i would rather hear about someone's, uh, mattress dancing than their epesiotomy, or what happens when you're breast feeding & get an infection, or what iddle cuteles BMs look like after he eats fruits & veggies as opposed to dairy ... and, yes, i have been treated to all of these & not by the same person. Um, grody. and TMI. and again, grody.
Not that i WANT to hear about anyone's mattress dancing, either, mind you; but people seem to assume that all things to do with children/pregnancy are "natural" and therefore acceptable topics of conversation ... and that those of us that don't want to hear it are somehow immature. BaH!!
ok. end rant.
Thank you, seriously, for bringing that one up in particular. It's an excellent point, and i think you put all of that really well.
