Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders: Making the Team.  I also watch the Girls Next Door.  Sometimes you just need some mindless TV.

Oh my goodness, the Surreal Life! When i had major dental surgery there was a Surreal Life marathon going. I spent 4 days on my couch watching that show.  ;) I blamed it on the painkillers. The season with Ron Jeremy and that crew was great. I loved the end when Sally Jessie Raphael tried getting them all stirred up and they all defended each other and accused SJR of trying to cause trouble. It was a proud day for celebritydom.

:D Oh man ... i have to watch some extra Discovery Channel now just to make up for even thinking that much about SL.
It's alright, man. I'm only bleeding, man. Stay hungry, stay free, and do the best you can.

I also love Degrassi: The Next Generation, and I watch the worst soap on the planet, Passions.  It's great, and I'm legitimately upset that it was cancelled.

But the most shameful is...The Real Housewives of Orange County.  I highly recommend it, as it features etiquette violations galore!  It is also the trashiest show on T.V.

I don't have any guilty pleasures on TV; I freely admit all.  One quirk, though, is that I've taped a few entire novelas.  It started because when I first began watching them I would tape them just in case I had to review a section that wasn't familiar and I ended up keeping the series.  Considering that the DVD releases are condensed to about 10-12 hours (depending on who edits them), this was a smart move with a couple of them.

Seriously?  I was cheering for Kaysar!

(I have a big problem cheering for a drunk, no matter how 'good' she played a game, she is still a convicted drunk.)

Kaysar wasn't in the final two.

Edited to add that neither was Janelle - she was the last eliminated before the finals - but Erika and Boogie both disgusted me.

I like the Nanny programs.  I think there are two?  I used to watch that Paris and Nicole show.  I wouldn't have allowed them in my house in real life, though.  They were just too unpredictable.

I just want to clarify that when I said The Nanny, I was referring to the sitcom starring Fran Drescher, not the Nanny 911-type shows.

I also love the Nanny. I am severely jealous of Miss Fine's wardrobe (and ability to pull it off for the most part).

I um, really really like to watch Arthur and Jakkers. On PBS. I think they're rated ages 5-8 or something.

I'll also cop to "7th Heaven." For a while I had a ton of free time, and watched the 2 hour block of reruns every night on ABC Family or something. The acting is sub-par, and everything wraps up so neatly in an hour, but I just had to know what was going to happen next to those 'crazy' Camdens!  ;D  DH would just shake his head and go in the other room.

I love 'Degrass'i too, and lets just say it's been a while since I was in high school.  I also like "Wife Swap", and one of the few children's movies I can bear to watch is the live action 2004 release of the 'Thunderbirds', although I'm not a big fan of the original TV show.

OH MY GOSH!  I forgot about Battlestar Galactica!  I watched the first season and half of the second before I told anyone I liked it, I didn't want to be the "geeky sci-fi girl".

I AM a geeky sci-fi girl and proud of it! There's nothing wrong with being a geeky sci-fi nut, there's only people rude enough to try to make geeky sci-fi fans feel bad. Well, I don't! Sci-fi RULES!

T'MAR!  I just now realized that pic is of Daniel Jackson! I have to keep my brightness down to less than 10 or I get headaches.  Michael Shanks is YUMMY!!!

Hee. Yes, he is. I had to put that pic and quote there, since he mentions etiquette. It's etiquette relating to being a hostage, but we can't be picky when looking for etiquette-related quotes from Stargate... 8)

I like to watch Girls Next Door.  Yes, that one.  The E! show starring an 80 year old Playboy Mogul Heff and his three live-in girlfriends (ages 20, 26 and 33).  I don't know what it is about that show!  It's a trainwreck, yet it's charming.

Hugh Hefner is one of the biggest marketing geniuses of the 20th century.  I never had the pleasure of meeting him, but when I did business with his magazine ages ago he had the most socially-polished staff of any magazine I ever recommended to a client.  Did you know he had a TV show years ago, too:
