wow! "Unstoppable" indeed!

I just have to say, Maybelline Unstoppable waterproof mascara is AWESOME.

I spent about half my day in a stuffy, uncomfortable, cramped hospital room that, at one point, had some 12 people crammed into it (my grandma's back in a double room instead of her usual single room). My eyeliner didn't quite survive the heat assault - it faded kind of quickly - so I had to do a touch-up in the bathroom before I left the hospital to meet up with Paul for our movie tonight (finally!).

We ended up going to see "Bridge to Terabithia," and if you've never read the book I won't spoil it for you, but suffice to say it's something of a tearjerker. Well...after the movie I did a quick makeup check in the car, and my eyeliner had smudged a little (I only line my upper lids)  when I'd dabbed at my eyes, but not one eyelash was out of place, nor did I look like a raccoon.

I just got home, some 11 hours after initially putting on my mascara...and my eyelashes, which are pretty full and long to begin with (but a girl can always use some extra help, and he DID notice my eyes, which I know he thinks are "beautiful" - his word, not mine!), were still well-coated with mascara. Unstoppable? I think I will have to agree with the good folks at Maybelline. I know what brand my next tube of mascara's gonna be!

Unfortunately, my lipgloss didn't last - first I ate, then Paul and I engaged in another one of our typical bouts of (friendly!) cheek-kissing, after I'd reapplied.  :-* So most of my lipgloss ended up on his face. Heehee. ;D I gotta say, I love when that happens!

Yeah, we're still only friends, but I almost, almost spent the night with him at Randy's tonight! I was sorely tempted to accept the invite, but circumstances (ie...girl problems) prevented me...

*sigh*  :-[

Yeah, we're happy about the make up...but really, we want to hear more about Paul!

Ain't love grand?

it is.  ;D

We watched "Bridge to Terabithia" together yesterday and both of us ended up bawling like little babies (if you've read the book, or watch the movie, you'll know why). The movie theater we went to was one of the ones with stadium seating, cushy seats, and movable armrests, so at one point I moved up the armrest between us and we held hands and just cried our eyes out. It was cute.

He loved the Cal beanie I made for him (navy blue, with 2 gold stripes) and showed it off with pride to Randy and his dad. I'm proud to say that it was an absolutely perfect fit and, if I do say so myself, it looks awesome on him. :D

And yeah, I'm a sap, but I miss him already.  ::)
