I keep seeing STBX as a term for a friend or family memeber. What does it mean? I can't figure it out for the life of me.

What does that little blue symbol mean that looks like a question mark inside a circle?  It's in the column where the "moved" symbol or "sticky topic " symbol would be.

It's called a post icon-- it was designed initially, I believe, to differentiate posts that had a question or a concern from normal, run of the mill posts. It can only be used if you're the topic starter.

The one that confuses me is IOW. May I please have a clarification as to what this one means?

What's OH? I mistook it in a thread for "some O word, husband" in a thread.  :-[ My mind keeps trying to make it into "Other Husband" and I'm sure that's not right. ;)

Used in the context of "I and my OH moved into a new apartment". It was a boyfriend. If that helps at all.

How about FI?

I can't figure that one out... I thought it was like 'future inlaw' but that doesn't make sense because it seems to be talking about a boyfriend, husband, etc.
