Today is Ash Wednesday, the beginning of Lent. I have some Lenten goals I want to accomplish, so I probaby won't be on the forum as frequently as usual.

I will be checking periodically to see if I have messages, but I probably won't be posting much, if at all.

So fear not, I am alive and well. Just trying to accomplish something during Lent, for once!

I'll be back in full force after Easter.

Everybody take care! Happy Ash Wednesday, Happy Lent, Happy St. Patrick's Day, Happy Passover and Happy Easter!

I know this probably not what you meant, but it sounded like you're giving up E-Hell for Lent! That would be a hard one to give up!!

At Ash Wednesdy service, Pastor was talking about sacrifice, and he said, "Some people are making the ultimate sacrifice for Lent — they're giving up Coke!" I thought sure that barb was aimed at me, but Tim assured me it wasn't. Still, I wonder! ;D

I'm not completely abandoning being here, as you can see. Never fear, I will pop in and make a few pithy remarks now and again. :)

Hey, I am right there with you. I can give up chocolate and maybe even hamburgers for lent, but NOT MY DIET COKE!!!
