Cold as a Booger in Sunny Florida

It's going down into the teens tonight (which is going to make my midnight smoke break a shivery event out on the porch) for the first time I can remember since we moved here. So it's time for cold weather fun! I'm bundled in my sweats (I will be putting on my super sexy LONG JOHNS at bedtime-hot mama!) and I just finished a cup of Sleepytime Celestial Seasonings tea (one of my favorite three flavors) and am pondering what kind of soup I'm going to get out of the cabinet for dinner. The only bummer is that I'm out of my Inglehoffer stone ground mustard to go on my turkey sandwich, but I will make it.
After the little man goes to bed I'm going to curl up with a book and drink hot tea till bedtime....
So what do you like to do on these cold winter nights?

I love to curl up with a good book, a cup of hot cocoa (Guittard's makes the BEST, and I can still get it at the employee discount if the right person is working the counter, 2 years after I no longer work for a local gourmet candy company), and my electric blanket on a low setting, so I don't have to bother with the heater and I stay toasty all night (no worries - it's a pretty new blanket, so I won't set the house on fire).

If there's a sweetie involved (which currently there isn't - working on it, though!), curling up together and watching Star Wars or something of the sort always rules.

It's in the 20's around here tonight (North Carolina) and as I am sick with what my doctor termed "the crud" yet cannot sleep I am heading for bed with that new berry pyramid tea stuff (yum by the way for those that like tea) to curl up under blankets with the Evil Deeb and the Boog (our crazy cats) and finish reading Stephen King's IT yet again while listening to my Ab Fab DVDs in the background to cut the creepiness.   

DH is currently employing his fave thing no matter what the temp is outside:  playing one of his Star Wars video games (in this case Battlefront) until he is tired enough to sleep through Ab Fab (which he can't stand).
