I'm one of a small group of people putting together a multi-media convention in Kansas City in October.  Our first con (and I'm terrified!) to organize on our own...

BUT!!!  We just confirmed Peter S. Beagle, the author of The Last Unicorn, as our Author Guest of Honor!

I am just about dancing here!

Alida, congratulations!  He's such a terrific writer.  (Unlike most people, my favorite Beagle book is A Fine and Private Place  I really liked The Last Unicorn but I loved "place".  And of course, there's the novella "Lila the Werewolf" which used to crack me up. 

Dance your little footies off, Kiddo, after a coup like that, you gotta dance!
