Thank You?
« on: December 10, 2006, 12:42:57 PM »
Should I give my boss or the whole company a thank you card? I only work part time there and they gave me a nice Christmas bonus. I said thank you when they gave it to me but should I send them a card, bring in some food? I don't know what to do?!?!?!?!

I don't know if a Thank You card would be appropriate here, after all a Christmas bonus isn't a present, you earned it!

I can't see the harm in sending a holiday card to your boss. You can say thank you for the bonus and the opportunity to work there on the inside but still be sticking with the holidays as a reason for giving a card.

Just make sure to pick the right holiday.  ;D

I think a Thank You card would be very nice.  While it is true that you earned the bonus, the boss was still under no obligation to give you one.  I would say to give it to the Boss; after all, s/he is the one who gave you the bonus, and it might be better to keep it between the two of you.
