Out to dinner for a friend's birthday.  But based on the fact I ate 2 ice cream sandwiches for breakfast, and a slice of ice cream cake this afternoon, I'm sticking with just a salad.

I'm making a veggie pizza.  Not sure which toppings.

We still haven't made it to the grocery store. I'm guessing we'll be going out tonight.

I'm making pizza empanadas for dinner...  Might even sneak in an apple empanada from Taco Bell, too.

Roasted zucchini in a garlic lemon butter sauce over pesto pasta, with a nice glass of cold milk.

Smoked sausage and from-scratch au gratin potatoes. I'm looking for a good recipe for fresh carrots - something different. I'm not sure what I'll do.

For dessert, a baked good of some kind. The kids are looking through recipe books for ideas right now. :)

I was finally home to eat a good dinner. Usually I work odd hours. Today my mil made us dinner but I was not hungry when I got home from work so we brought it back to our flat and had it later. We had chicken in puff pastry, roasted potatoes, and I had cabbage and carrots ( which Hubby does not eat). Desert was a chocolate cake with warm chocolate sauce. It was very good and it saved me from cooking.

My sis and her BF came for dinner tonight. We had chicken with 'Reggae Reggae' sauce, baked potatoes, corn cobs and crusty bread. I made lemon meringue pie for dessert, because my last one turned out so well  :) .

I'm making pecan-crusted chicken and garlic mushrooms (a side of white mushrooms cooked in oil, garlic, lemon juice and parsley).

Tonight was Father's Day BBQ at the in-laws.  We had:

Grilled hot dogs, bratwursts, hot Italian sausages, and corn on the cobs
Tomato-Onion-Avocado Salad (recipe courtesy of Sibby!)
Orzo with Celery, Pecans, and Cranberries (I finally posted the recipe today)
Steamed green beans with toasted almonds
Carrot cake

Oh, and last night, after we put the kids to bed, I fed DH one of his favorite meals, Pasta with Roasted Red Peppers.
