I'm stuck for tonight.  There's a great vegetable soup in the fridge but I'm about to freeze it for DH, who won't be back until Sunday evening.  Running to my coop later on this morning for inspiration and chicken.

Yesterday was yogurt, canned mangoes and an English muffin. Tonight is redacted hamburger hotdish.

To whom you speak,
Of whom you speak,
And how, and when, and where.

The plan for dinner tonight was guatemalen chicken in coconut milk, but I forgot to defrost the chicken...  :-[

I made the small pies successfully but it's confirmed that my fear of pastry was not unfounded.

Making pie crust is way easier if you use a food processor and frozen butter!

I used a food processor and everything was straight out of the fridge, I even chilled it after I made it.  The problem was it fell apart really easily when I rolled it and didn't go into the deep dish as easily as I'd hoped.  I had visions of it sinking in beautifully like on TV but instead I ended up putting the bottom in separately and patchworking the sides.

Hot dogs, nachos, peanuts, and Cracker Jack!

We're hosting a World Series party, and ballpark food does not lend itself to healthy eating.

I'm going out for Ethiopian with a friend.

It was super yummy including the baklava we split for dessert, and I have enough leftovers for 2 lunches!

Tonight we're having barbeque short ribs that have been slow cooking in the crock pot, tossed salad and mashed potatoes.

It is so nasty here because of Hurricane Sandy.  It looks like it could snow any second.  last night was chili, cornbread and orange cream cake.  Tonight is split pea soup and crusty bread.

It's finally getting cool here, so tonight is pork tenderloin stuffed with rosemarry, mushrooms, & prosciutto and a cheese souffle and tomorrow night is homemade chili and mexican cornbread.  May have to do chlie rellenos for Sunday night before the weather turns hot again.
