Burgers and a show! The improv comedy troupe I follow has infrequent shows in the basement of a coffee house (there's a stage and theater area) and it's also in connection with the bar and grill next door. Now you can even take in alcoholic drinks from the bar into the theater! BF is buying dinner, I'm probably on the hook for desserts at intermission, but that's okay because it's delicious, and it's sure to be a hilarious evening.

Last night I went to the library after work and stopped for a cheeseburger and fries afterwards because it was an hour trip home and I didn't want to wait that long. When I got home I finished off the last of my candy cane Hershey's Kisses and a peach fruit cup.
If wisdom’s ways you wisely seek,
Five things observe with care,
To whom you speak,
Of whom you speak,
And how, and when, and where.

Santa Fe corn and bean soup. I found the recipe in a Gooseberry Patch cookbook and tweaked it.

Vampire repelling spicy pasta sauce with Italian sausage and multigrain thin spaghetti. It was very good.

I'm in Vegas at the Cosmopolitan.  So I had a couple of drinks at the Chandelier Bar and a bunless burger at Holstein.

I think it's going to be a clean out the fridge night.  I'm tired and I still have to prep my corn-potato chowder and pumpkin muffins for our pre-trick or treating dinner tomorrow!
