DH made pork chops, eggs and hash!

Tonight is a red wine beef stew with red potatoes, carrots, onion, garlic, peas and corn.

Comfort food: Soup and crackers. Later, we'll have hot cocoa. I'm tired from snow shoveling.

Finally having the beef stew with egg noodles. DS made it all and even made a cherry cheesecake pie for dessert!

Awesome butternut squash and chickpea stew with harissa-type spices, tomato and peapods. Couscous.

I have an oddly timed Valentine's date (just after midnight tonight, so technically it's on the holiday) at a hot pot restaurant.  The odd timing is due to my work schedule - I'm so glad a fairly lovely restaurant is open to late hours.

We're having pork chops with home-made shake-n-bake, apple sauce, spinach and lentil pilaf.

The left over pilaf will mean koshary when it's due to snow again tomorrow.
