I got food from a BBQ place...I'm finding myself kind of ambivalent toward it.

I have a recipe-in-progress that we're calling "unrolled cabbage." It involves ground beef, onions, garlic, carrots, tomatoes, shredded cabbage, rice, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and allspice, cooked on the stovetop. Still playing with the proportions.

Crockpot pork with chile verde: Pork roast, roasted poblano peppers, tomatillos, onions, garlic, cumin, chile powder, oregano, and stock.
