Apple slices, three kinds of cheese, and a little rooibos tea on ice...it's Texas in the summertime - just about every beverage except breakfast coffee is on ice or chilled.

And a slice of leftover pizza...

We just had burgers on the grill. Friends left some ground pork at our place last weekend, so I mixed that in with the beef. It was pretty good, but I wish I had remembered that I just bought some bacon.

Grilled steelhead trout, spinach pasta, fresh tomatoes. Maybe turtle cake if I have time to bake tonight.
Some day, I hope to get paid to kill people. Now, I just do it for fun.

Pork green chili, cornbread, fruit, and maybe individual brownie cakes.

Pork Tenderloin with Ginger-Tomato Sauce and Potatoes Bravas.  http://www.publix.com/aprons-recipes/pork-tenderloin-with-ginger-tomato-sauce-and-potatoes-bravas

Its a Publix recipe and was delicious when they made it at the store, so I'm hoping I don't screw it up too badly at home tonight.  I don't have the frozen potatoes, so I might just bake some sliced fresh potatoes or make home fries with it.  Or some rice.  Haven't decided yet.

I just hope the ginger flavor isn't too strong for my DH.  He hates ginger.

My first attempt at Brunswick stew. It has smoked pork, smoked beef brisket, corn, beans, and tomatoes so far.

Steamed corn on the cob (which was so good!) and sliced farmers' tomatoes. Delicious!
