Beef tenerloin in a shallot and merlot sauce, mashed potatoes, roasted asparagus, and for dessert, mom's apple pie. i was decadent, and had creme brule ice cream instead of vanilla.

Ham, turkey, noodles, dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy, sweet potatoes, the infamous green bean casserole, deviled eggs, tortilla chips with either salsa or a southwest dip, cheeseball with crackers, sugar cookies, pumpkin pie, pecan pie, chocolate eclair dessert, and leftover stuff from a pre-christmas gathering at my aunt's.

Plain macaroni -- a bit of margarine and basil. I am not feeling well, but we did have tacos at my mom's house for the big Christmas lunch before I started going downhill.

A baked turkey drumstick, seasoned with tarragon, rosemary, basil, parsley and butter. And stuff. A can of green beans tastes wonderful too.

Yesterday: Breakfast was eggs Benedict with my first ever Hollandaise.

Christmas lunch (with the in-laws) was ham, sweet potato casserole with brown sugar and pecans, mushroom risotto, and various cold salads. Dessert was a red velvet cake.

Dinner was skirt steak, yellow squash, onions and sweet peppers with more risotto.

Today: Potato soup and grilled ham sandwiches. More red velvet cake.

I made a Cornish game hen glazed with guava and brown sugar, pan-fried zucchini, and caramel apple crisp...this was supposed to be Christmas dinner but I was too tired to make that Christmas day.

I'm thinking beef stir fry. Maybe I'll make lo mein instead of rice, assuming we have pasta.

I think I might make burgers tonight. With sweet potato fries and garden salad.

Sauteed chicken and mushrooms, mixed with jarred marinara sauce over GF pasta with a little parmesan on top.

Candy cane cookies for dessert.

Of whom you speak,
And how, and when, and where.

We'll make a chicken pot pie with left-over chicken and fresh vegetables.  Usually, we make the crust with filo dough but we're feeling a bit lazy. The crust will be made with pop-&-bake crescent rolls.
