Feeling both cruddy and blue, so I had ice cream with hot fudge sauce.

Tried a new recipe for crispy oven fries, and cooked some veggie burgers.

The weather yesterday can only be described as vile.

We started thinking about dinner and discovered that we had everything in the house we needed for a Mongolian hotpot.  Easy, delicious and festive.

Yesterday was mac and cheese, kale and a white chocolate Magnum bar.

Tonight is probably yogurt and fruit.

Five things observe with care,
To whom you speak,
Of whom you speak,
And how, and when, and where.

Pork cutlets crusted in cornmeal, over linguine with a light cream sauce. DS made it!

Grilled chicken breasts stuffed with ricotta/parmesean/basil mix, sauteed mushrooms and green beans.  I've been waiting for this menu all week.

Combining yesterday's linguine with some fresh meat sauce in a pan, topping it with mozzarella and baking it.

Lasagna tonight! Lots of veggies minced up and added to the meat. Hopefully DS takes more than two bites.

In the United States today, there is a pervasive tendency to treat children as adults, and adults as children.  The options of children are thus steadily expanded, while those of adults are progressively constricted.  The result is unruly children and childish adults.  ~Thomas Szasz

Chicken and sausage pasta with a pesto alfredo sauce.  Not sure what's in the fridge, so there may be veggies involved
