Creamy Tomato Tortellini Soup. I found the recipe on Pinterest and decided what the heck.....it turned out very well.

That sounds good!

It was. However, the next time I make it it's going to be in a large saucepan.....I'd made it in a large stockpot per the instructions and the stockpot was roughly 1/3 full.

Turkey and Swiss on whole wheat sub rolls, toasted in the toaster oven. Delicious!

That sounds really good. I might have to look it up. Last night we had beef barley soup.

Tonight we're having kabobs with either mashed potatoes or creamy garlic pasta.
In the United States today, there is a pervasive tendency to treat children as adults, and adults as children.  The options of children are thus steadily expanded, while those of adults are progressively constricted.  The result is unruly children and childish adults.  ~Thomas Szasz

This and that: egg salad on crackers, broken up tostadas with tomatillo salsa, dark chocolate and a dark and stormy. It's been one of those weeks and I just couldn't handle tackling my kitchen and finally getting around cooking real food. Tomorrow I solemnly swear to eat real food.

Considering that was the first thing I made that I found on Pinterest, I think I'm going to have to raid my "Pinterest recipe file" quite a bit  :)

We split plates of tofu pad Thai and massamun curry. Nice and filling, but I don't know why they put so much sugar in the curry. It was dangerously close to Jif curry sauce!
