Last night was potato soup with cheddar cheese.

Tonight will be yogurt, mango and half a bagel, since it's dance class night and I won't get home till 9:30. I have an enormous lunch, and that holds me.

Stir-fried pork with broccoli and cashews.  We're only tried the recipe once before, but it turned out really well and I'm looking forward to having it again!
I searched for nothing on the Internet and got 175,000,000 hits.

Ham and cheese sandwiches, since DH ran the oven self-clean mode today and it is too hot to deal with.

When I read this I was imagining how quickly bacon would cook in an oven that hot :)

We are actually having baked sweet potatoes, ham steak with mustard sauce and braised cabbage.

Spaghetti, but I got a new tortillia press and want to try it out so spaghetti with meat sauce, fresh green beens, and flour tortillias.

I was going to have salmon, wild rice and quinoa, and spinach.

Instead I had baked chicken, sweet potato mash and steamed veggies

Couscous, spinach and carrots. Pita chips and hummus and blackberries for a snack soon.

I quartered baby carrots into strips and cooked them with a bit of vegetable oil, cardamom, chili powder, cinnamon (barely any), sea salt and a drizzle of honey till they were browned/caramelized a bit. So good. The cardamom is definitely the ticket.

I'm having blueberries mixed with sugar free black cherry gelatin and some fake frozen whipped cream..maybe half a banana.  Double yum!
(can you believe I am wasting organic blueberries and banana on this dessert?) 
I've never knitted anything I could recognize when it was finished.  Actually, I've never finished anything, much to my family's relief.

Have you tried frozen yogurt instead of whipped cream?

Tonight was garlicky broccoli and baked tofu with plum sauce, followed by a healthy dose of brownie batter. For all that I love to cook and bake, I'm pretty sure this was my first batch of from scratch brownies ever.
