Pumpkin soup. It's bubbling right now.

DS1 at the age of 17 has finally started eating pasta again, so we are having lasagne for dinner.  I'm so glad that he is eating more things after years of fussy eating.

I created a cream of mushroom vegan soup. Pretty good!

We had our memorial day picnic a day early. So I ate: a hot dog, mac and cheese, baked beans, and garlic mashed potatoes. We also had hamburgers, bean salad, smoked turkey and pulled pork. I now cannot move... can someone please roll me down the hill?

Oh my gosh,  If you go swimming you'll sink like a stone :)  Kudos to your gastrointestinal fortitude!

Sounds delicious! Mind PMing me the recipe?

I had my own early Memorial Day cook-out with friends. I ate a veggie burger, salad (no dressing), veggies (no dip), fruit, spicy Doritos, brownies and Sangria. And tomorrow I'm going for a run.

I actually stood up for a short period of time and made dill sauce to put on salmon cakes.  I did not make the salmon cakes - TooJay's made them.  They are a poor substitute for Mom's salmon cakes, but still pretty good.

^Thanks! My guys aren't too crazy about the turkey sausage, but I add enough other things that they enjoy it.

Barbecued pork ribs, chicken thighs, cowboy beans, beer bread and smashed potatoes.

Since it's too cold and yucky here to BBQ, I am making pan fried pork chops, marinated veggies and I made brownies earlier today for dessert.

Pasta with cherry tomatoes, garlic, and fresh basil, thyme, parsley, and  chives from our garden (we've only had a few ripe tomatoes from our plant so far so I had to use store bought for those, and we aren't trying our hand at our own garlic), and a glass of white wine.

DF is out of the country for 5 weeks, and it hasn't really seemed worth the effort to properly cook for just myself (I'm horribly bad about eating leftovers), so I've been subsisting on a lot of salads, sandwiches, and pasta.
