Spaghetti and tomato sauce with meatballs and Italian sausage! We recently got Italian sausage in Costco Kobe, yay! It's the first time I've been able to get Italian sausage here.

My husband is (for once!) cooking dinner tonight: apparently some combination of angel hair pasta, broccoli, garlic, pepperoni, and parmesan (an old childhood recipe). Should be......interesting.  :P

Broiled sea bass, with a red pepper/snap pea/spinach salad. Easily the highest cost per serving meal I've ever made, but it was so worth it.

Tomato and mayonnaise sandwich again! It was so good and I really don't feel like cooking.

I'm having leftovers too! A steak (it was a two pack, so two meals, yay!) This time with sweet potato fries.

Last night was Mexican at our favorite authentic place. Tonight, we are visiting the food trucks and will have Korean from the Korean taco box truck, lobster rolls from the Monsta Lobsta truck and whatever else looks good!

I just saw a bit of an old CHOPPED episode online and one guy slicing an English cucumber reminded me I have a couple of fresh zucchini at home as well as a fresh batch of my own Spicy Thai Peanut Sauce. I think I will make zucchini spaghetti with that peanut sauce along with a green salad with watermelon, and steamed corn on the cob. Umm, I am already craving it.

Not dinner, but I just had an amazing breakfast sandwich. Toasted homemade sourdough, fried egg from my friend's chickens, tomato from another friend's garden, a smear of mayonnaise on the tomato side, a bigger smear of dijon mustard on the egg side.

Tonight I'm meeting friends at a local taqueria that does amazing salads. I'm pretty excited.

100% Taquito. Mexican food like my grandmother used to make. And beer, two 60+ weeks back to back, DH and I have earned them.
