Chicken/spinach salad. My avocado went bad (my fault for buying it at Target), so had to omit that, but it was still good. Especially since I used my Penzey fajita seasoning for the first time; yum!

Love Penzey's.

Shallot pepper steak with shrimp, green salad topped with avocados, tomato and onion salad, and mixed vegetables. Basically cleaning out the pantry and fridge!

Spaghetti with meat sauce, garlic bread, and a fresh tomato and basil salad courtesy of my FIL's garden. Yum

I decided to act like an adult - and eat peach fro-yo for dinner, because it was that kind of day.

Don't you just love being an adult?

Tonight I had a caprese salad, with tomato and basil from my garden, over a bed of lettuce and now I'm snacking on frozen watermelon.

I just put ribs in the slow cooker and am deciding between potato salad or pasta salad to go with it...

Meatloaf, scalloped potatoes, and either green beans or fresh lima beans. We've been on the go all week and having quick, light suppers. Time for some heavy comfort food!

Pasta and watermelon.

I've got the beginning of a migraine, so I'm off to bed early

Feel better.

DH fell asleep after he got home, so I took son to his game and picked up dinner.

Steaks, cheesy rice and broccoli, Cajun crab dip and crackers, sliced tomatoes.

Tonight was a nice big salad, followed by tart fro-yo with lots of kiwi and mango.

Last night was rotisserie chicken and bacon with egg noodles and herbs. Very good.

Tonight is steak, mixed vegetables and rice.

Last night was tomato pie and lima beans, homemade chocolate chip cookies for dessert!

Tonight, baked ziti with summer veggies: eggplant, zucchini, onions, tomatoes, & lots of basil. Can't wait....
