I regret to report that I ate restaurant food every day for about a week and a half

I had good excuses, but now half my pants don't fit. So this week, I'm both eating healthier and not spending more money on food, since I have a freezer full of stuff. I made vegetable-beef broth and I will be putting it in the slow cooker in the mornings before I leave for work, so that when I come home for lunch I can just drop pre-sliced meats and veggies in to quickly cook hot-pot style. I had some for lunch and was pretty pleased!
