Stir fry with tofu, carrots, onions and mizuna greens and I've got a pot of borscht with lentils simmering for lunches.

Last night - veggie rueben.  Swiss Cheese, sauteed mushrooms, kraut, thousand island on rye.  Yummy and compliant with Lent.

Tonight -   parmesan baked tilapia, asparagus and brown rice.  Movie night  snacks - homemade puupuu platter.  Trying out some new recipes...  scallion  pancakes, crab rangoon dip and chicken bites.

I made mushroomy vegetable soup from one of those Manischewitz sacks of dried vegetables and seasoning. I think I will add some more salt and pepper when we eat the leftovers; it's pretty bland.

If you can stand to wait 2 hours (of zero work) for a pot of less-than-exciting but hearty soup, they're a great deal at 3/$5.

DH has started a love affair with these PF Changes frozen dinners   BKAAGGHHHHHH ! Too salty, too sugary over processed mess.  The broccoli was MUUSSH, the chicken was weirdly textured.  After a 12 hour day, I was starving and this is what he made.  I told him no thanks and made myself a scrambled egg on a Portuguese roll.  Ohhh I also told him that this mess that he know I don't eat - does not count toward his nights to make dinner.
