CSI:NY Fans?
« on: March 01, 2007, 04:45:28 PM »
Are there any CSI:NY fans out there who liked last night's episode?  My usual haunts are being  unusually viritrolic or won't load.  And I'm desperate to know if I'm the only one who liked last night's ep.  Anybody out there?

DeHubby and I liked it - I thought that Chris Angel, Mind Freak, was a wonderful choice to play Luke Blade.  The hair, the eye liner, and all that just *fit* the character so well that it was SCARY.  You have to hope that Chris Angel really is that good an actor.............

Cause if he wasn't acting - that is even scarier...........

I didn't watch it last night but when my son saw who was going to be on he said that he was a very scary individual.  So I think I have to say he probably wasn't acting.

I was totally creeped out by the Luke Blade character.  But it was fun seeing a few illusions illuminated.

He was kind of creepy, but still kind of sexy. This is just my opinion, though. Maybe it's the eye-liner.

I liked it. I'm not into magic/illusion usually, but this was good.

I love that Danny finally got a clue and went to Montana. Everybody on that show is hookin' up!! I think Stella should be with Flack, and then we just need an interesting newcomer for Dr. Hawkes. :)

O*M*G! Those glasses creep me out bigtime! I don't know why; I think it's the sound they make. But every time he does it I want to crawl under the couch. Eeew!!!

Haven't seen the ep yet. But I love Danny. :)

It took me three or four episodes to figure out those clip front glasses!  I'd never seen anything like them before.

I too am very glad Danny wised up. And that Lindsay didn't keep pushing him away.  Of all the reasons to hold someone off, her past trauma was a pretty good one.

I've seen a few of Chris Angel's tricks on Youtube or someplace like that.  Mindfreak is a good name.

The Montana trial must be in or near Lindsey's home town.  I wonder if Danny gets to meet her family and what they think of the Brooklyn boy.   :)

I've listened to Criss on a few different talk shows (Penn Jillette's especially) and I think he's a very good magician and a VERY good actor.   I don't think he's scary, I compare him to a punk/rock star magician.  lol  He seems like a very nice guy in the interviews and that he just loves messing with peoples minds, that's why he does the kinds of illusions he does.  He originally wanted to call his show Mind F*ck, but couldn't for obvious reasons, and that's just what he likes to do.  And what better way then to play a pyscho-killer magician.  I think he's sexy and cool and would love to go too one of his shows.  And I couldn't think of anyone better to play the part.  And being a magician is 75% acting, you have to get the audience involved in the illusion or it just won't work.

I'm late, but chiming in anyway.  I really liked it, but I was glad I warned my mom that it would probably get a little gory for her tastes.

And I could've just cried with happy tears when Danny went to Montana.  I was so happy to see them together.  Do you know that the actress who plays ... the girl from MT (sorry, forgot the character name) just had a baby?  I was pretty glad to read that, because until I realized it was maternity leave I was afraid they were getting ready to take her off the show.

You didn't notice her standing BEHIND things and people?   Or the ever-present file folder held in front of her abdomen---once when the whole crew was walking down a hall, even Stella held the folder, with her own arms crossed, so the shield stuck out to cover Lindsay's front.

It seems that every show we watch has someone lurking behind stuff---Diane Farr's FBI lady on Numbers has been conspicuously sitting for months now, and Lily on Crossing Jordan is OUT THERE, with no cover.   Mariska H on L&O has had her turn to lurk and leave for a bit, and there are several others I can't think of at the moment.

Are those glasses magnetic in the middle, like that new jewelry clasp they're advertising on TV?

And best of all:   Gary Sinise ;)

You are very observant.  8) I only notice that stuff if I already know the actress in question is pregnant. Except for Debra Messing on "Will & Grace". She's so darn skinny to start with, the minute she had a bump, it looked like she'd stuffed a bowling ball under her shirt.

No, I didn't notice.  :-[  But, now that you mention all that.... my only excuse is the one you stated.  I was too busy staring at Gary to look at her.  :P
