Can't you look it up?

Why is it that people can't look up things for themselves? I guess this is kind of a stupid question but really how hard is it to google something for yourself instead of typing out an answer and hoping someone will find an answer for you?
On this and many other boards that I have seen people ask questions that the obvious answer would be to look it up yourself. You obviously have access to the internet so one should be able to type it in and click search just as well as anyone else can.
