For those following this soap opera. Bad Niece has been driving around in the Badmobile without insurance, so the registration has been yanked. She can't reregister it without the title, which my mom has. Former SIL has asked my mom for the title, but Mom refused. I told my mom to say Former SIL can have it by paying the balance on the car.
Mom is going to give the plate number to the police and fill them in on it's status. It's a dinky town and the police notice such things.
My mom's husband is mad about the food stamp card and won't buy any groceries. He just takes my mom out to eat every day. Let Nephew fend for himself.
