"Poor" on the Holidays?

(1/1)

MineralDiva:
I just received a holiday e-card from a photographer friend, who Mr. Diva and I have used to do some promotional work for our theatre company.  It was a shot she'd taken of a pinecone, with water being poured on it.  Down the side are the words, "eat, laugh, love," and the heading is "Poor on the Holidays!"

Uh...I think she meant "pour!"  LOL  (But trust me, this year "poor" fits...at least in MY house!)  I sent an email thanking her for the card and said, "Uh...did you really mean "poor" instead of "pour?"

I'm sure it was sent to more people than myself!  She might wanna fix that!  LOLOL

Evil Duckie:
LOL ;D

I love the pun. At my house it feels as if "poor" would fit.

BurninDinner:
Poor so totally fits me this year.  I'm a social work grad student!  I was all set to defend myself too. :)

MineralDiva:
Yup!  "Poor" fits me too!  I'm hoping it was simply a typo...and not a commentary on her perceptions of what she imagines my financial situation to be!  Wouldn't THAT be tacky?  LOL
