Despite what the jewelry industry would have us all believe, when two people agree to marry each other, they ARE ENGAGED.

It's not a requirement, it's just a tradition! (If you don't cut a cake, are you really married?)

People look at me weird for not having an e-ring, too. I have no desire for a ring.

I totally hear your frustration. Some people always have to be dorks.

Yes, tell them you are engaged!!!

CRUD MONKEYS! I am so excited!!!!!!!! I have never even heard of anyone with smaller fingers than mine! I am a size 4.5. I remeber one time a girl I knew got offended at me b/c my fingers are much smaller than hers--every time she saw my hands she thought that they were a sign or something that she was fat.

Sorry. My little tangent. Congrats, and you don't have to have a ring to be enagaged...

My ring finger is also a 4.5.  My pinky is a 3!  I have a hard enough sizing rings to fit, I can't imagine smaller.

The ring I mentioned in a previous post in this thread is a size 5.  It fits when I'm premenstrual!
