Need recipe for punch made with jell-o?

A neighbor made WONDERFUL strawberry-flavored punch with jell-o. I think she also used ginger ale. I remember that you had to keep adding the liquid to keep the jell-o from setting.

I've found a few recipes for jell-o punch on the net, but they don't look like what she used.

Visiting Crazy Town:
JELLO PUNCH   

1 sm. pkg. Jello (use any flavor to meet color scheme)
2 c. sugar
2 c. hot water
2 c. cold water
3 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tall can pineapple juice
1 bottle ginger ale

Do in the above order and it will dissolve better. Add ginger ale when ready to serve. Makes 1 gallon and serves 50 punch cups
