This Thursday in choir practice we were working on an anthem for Sunday. It's a song we did at the Christmas concert so we know it, but we were just doing a refresher. Anyway, there was a part where the tenors were supposed to come in, and they missed their cue so only one or two actually came in. They were supposed to come in LOUD and it was just a bunch of mumbly half-hums.
I was irritated because this had already happened twice(and a lot of people in the choir are constantly buried in their music and just wait for their neighbors to come in), so I blurted the first thought that came to mind: "That was PITIFUL! Sing like MEN!"
Cue the sound of a tape wiping and crickets. Then they all started laughing, but Pro wasn't too happy and he made a comment to the whole choir that comments like that need to stay outside.
I'm surprised everybody didn't hit me with their folders for being such a boor.
