Just because I can... ;)   There's the hook, and you totally just put yourself on it.  Good luck, and know that we're all rooting for you!

I did, but good, huh?  ;D

Oopsie!  :D

I freely admit that I'm one of those people who can't resist driving the truck through the open door.  But, like Bethalize, I want frequent updates.  Real life is way more fun than those cheesy novels I love reading. :D

Ditto to everyone who said you did great! I think you probably handled the situation even better than you realize: I bet Paul really liked the fact that you were so easy-going about the situation, which would make him even more into you. Plus, the fact that you did indicate that you hoped to spend time with just Paul, combined with the not-kissing, seems like just the right amount of mystery to keep a guy thinking about the date until he sees you again. : )   I think you were an uninentional vixen! (I mean that as a joke/compliment)

Oh, I can be a right naughty little minx when I want.  ;) I saw a window of opportunity (and for some reason I chose to wear one of my favorite lip-plumping glosses that night, so I KNOW he was looking at my mouth!), but didn't take it, both because his friend was waiting and I knew I was going to want more if I started anything, and because I want to keep it kind of platonic for as long as I can - but that LOOK, and that sly little grin when he stopped kissing my hand and looked back into my eyes - I can't get it out of my head.

Grrrrr! I can't wait to see him again...   :-\

One last question...would it be rude to put up a little sprig of mistletoe in the foyer just to "help" things along?  ;D

I mean, it IS the season!  8)

If the rest of the interior is decorated and the mistletoe isn't blatant I'd say go for it. :D

Darn it!  >:( My mom hasn't been in the decorating spirit this year, and with my neck still healing I can't be hauling the heavy boxes out of Christmas decorations out of the garage.

Oh well. I get the feeling I don't really need mistletoe to help things along anyway. ;D I do want to go to Victoria's Secret Beauty this weekend and buy a new shower gel, lotion and body splash in Sweet Temptation before I see him next. My mom got a bottle of lotion in that scent from one of her friends at work, and it smells gorgeous, even better than Love Spell, which is my current favorite VS Garden Collection scent.  :D

I've noticed that he does take note of those things, so I really need to go back to using my pretty scents instead of whatever's on sale at Wal-Mart or Target this week.

Well, it doesn't have to be extensively decorated, just a few garlands put up here and there... ;)

But that sounds like a plan with the scented stuff instead, probably much easier to get and use than garlands, also it would probably give a sensory cue to him as well.

Though speaking of VS, I miss their zodiac sign scents, their stuff for my sign was one of the few "musk" based scents that actually complimented me.

Teeheee!!!
I cannot believe Randy and his weird little dog *sigh* This will be one of those funny little things you laugh about as the relationship progresses!
Things sound really good, I think you were great!
I have finally found the bar I can't get thrown out of....

Though speaking of VS, I miss their zodiac sign scents, their stuff for my sign was one of the few "musk" based scents that actually complimented me.

I noticed, the last time he came over (he was by himself that time, and that was the first time he kissed my hand cuz my halo was in the way) that he really admired my hands (I had just lotioned them - yes I know I'm a sneaky girl, I did it when he wasn't in the room!) and liked the way my 4 or 5 dollar Vaseline Intensive Care hand & nail lotion smelled, which led him to stroke my hands, too, and comment on how nice and soft they were...*shiver*

If he likes the smell of that one (personally I think it's OK, a little more chemical than I really like, but the stuff WORKS, so I use it!), then it's time to pull out the Big Guns. I have a bunch of stuff from Bath & Body Works that needs using up, and he's as good a reason as any! Cotton Blossom, Warm Vanilla Sugar, Peony, Sweet Pea, Night-Blooming Jasmine, Plumeria and Honeysuckle are my favorites. I haven't been back in a while because I have so much stuff, so I'm not sure if they've discontinued anything besides the Plumeria, Jasmine and Honeysuckle. Warm Vanilla Sugar is my rare musk-based favorite, as I'm not all that fond of musk, but I really love the smell of vanilla.

I never got to try the VS Zodiac collection, but I bet you can find it one of 2 ways: someone on eBay's got to have it. If not, next time you're in VS, talk to the sales lady and ask if their warehouse stocks discontinued scents, and if you can order directly from them. The reason I know this is, B & BW and VS are part of the same parent company, and I know B & BW's warehouse stocks (most of) their discontinued scents, and you can call and order directly from them. I've been meaning to call for ages to see if I can get more Honeysuckle body splash. I love to spray it on my hair. :)

It was one of the funny little things we were laughing about while we were inside the house playing around with my laptop and hugging and (cheek! Just cheek!) kissing for 5 minutes (well...ok...he kissed my hand, too).  8) Nothing disparaging; I thought the dog was sweet and adorable.

I liked Randy well enough. But if I were attracted to him the way I am to Paul, the dog would SO be a deal-breaker. I like  (smallish to medium) dogs, but the guy is beyond obsessive with that dog. It's kind of cute, but a little weird. I'd hate to have to compete for attention with a dog!

I never even thought of that. I'll have to try that some day. Thank you muchly! :)

Wonder if Paul realizes what he's in for with you pulling out the stops. ;)

Teehee. I doubt it. ;)

My favorite tactic is the "sensory sneak attack." There's no man I've ever known who could resist the power of perfumed, petal-soft skin and silky hair. He's seen me at my worst...now it's time for him to see me at my best! ;D

Will do, most definitely! He should be coming over this week, so we'll see what happens when he discovers that I smell really, really nice...heehee.  ;D

Hey, I happened to be browsing the Bath & Body Works site today, and guess what? They've brought back some of the "classic" scents that were discontinued ages ago - my favorites of those being Honeysuckle and Strawberry Lemonade. They've brought back a few other scents I really liked, too. I'm going to the mall tomorrow cuz I need to find something to wear to my aunt's company Xmas party, which I'm helping out with, and I am definitely stopping by VS and B & BW to get some pretty-smelling stuff. As if I didn't have enough! ;)
