I Am So Excited!!
Clara Bow:
I got all my Christmas shopping, save like three things done today!! And I got GREAT gifts for everyone, I am thrilled!
I also got myself a little "preChristmas, postfinals" present: the new Hannibal Lecter book...I cannot wait to get started reading it (but not at night while hubby's asleep and I'm up in the house by myself...)
So who else fudged a little and bought themselves a little goody whilst out spreading cheer??
Sandi Papaya:
I'm not even halfway finished with my shopping, but I saw a deal on eBay on something I've been wanting for a long time - the Swarovski crystal Mickey Mouse charm bracelet, complete with all 5 charms - for under $150. Mind you, at regular retail, the bracelet ITSELF with the Mickey Mouse charm is $150. The other charms are $50 apiece.
So I got a $350 bracelet for $122, all told. Gotta love eBay!!!! But really, mine was an "I survived my ginormous accident and being in a halo for 3 months" gift to myself. I'll get the rest of my shopping done this week. :D
Evil Duckie:
Good going Auntie Venom! :D
I am done except for the socks and underware. I will be buying them Monday. I really hope that they will go on sale Sunday.
Clara Bow:
They've got "Cars" undies at WalMart, my son is three and thinks that girding his loins with Lightning McQueen and company is the only way to go...didn't notice any sales though I must admit I wasn't looking. Good luck!
kckgirl:
Congratulations. My shopping is all done (has been since Black Friday except for the last thing I got yesterday). Fortunately this time, procrastination paid off. One item I wanted for my granddaughter was $30 when I first looked at it, and I just didn't have that much the day I looked at them. Yesterday I decided it was time to just suck it up and buy the item. It was on sale for $19.99.
Now I have to wrap...my downfall every year. Last year my daughter and I were out at 5 a.m. on Black Friday. We got everything (and great deals) and were home by around 10 a.m. DD was on a roll. By lunchtime that day, everything was wrapped. Unfortunately, this year we got a later start and she had worked all night. So when we got home she went to bed, and I'm still driving around with all the gifts in the trunk of my car. I have Monday off work and I think we'll wrap while the kidlets are in school.
