BG/ Mr Breeze's brother lives on a popular island resort and has been back on the mainland recently for some work related training. We didn't hear from him the entire 6 weeks he was here, until...
It was his last weekend before returning and we received this phone call.
Bro – Hey Mr Breeze. You guys have a Wii don't you?
MB - Yes we do.
Bro – Well can I borrow it? I want to play Mario Party and you guys are the only people I know that have the system and the game.
MB – Sorry, we don't lend out our game systems.
Bro – Aw, that's not fair. You should lend it to me, it's my last weekend here.
MB – Sorry, we just don't lend out our game systems.
Bro – But I told my friends I could get us one to play
MB – I know you can rent them from the video store for around $60
Bro – Aw, but that's too expensive!!!
MB – How many of you will there be?
Bro – 4 – it's not like we'll break it, we'll be careful.
MB – Well $60 split between 4 is $15 each. If they want to play, surely they can chip in.
Cue more whining from his brother about how it's unfair, he's being mean etc. Once he realised Mr Breeze was not caving, he ended with a huffy "Fine" and that was that. Conversation ended, goodbyes said, phone was hung-up.
I am so very, very proud of him.
