My prayers to you, your husband, and all of the brave soldiers who are deployed to Iraq. I agree with the others that you find some kind of wives support group as they understand completely what you're going through and will definitely help you through this.

I got a brief phone call from hubby last night.  Poor thing came down with a cold during the plane ride over to Iraq.  I'm trying to imagine what that would be like coupled with jet lag.   I'm glad I heard from him; at least I know he made it safely over there.

*hugs* It sucks that they couldn't wait until after Christmas It seems so unfair. (No, I don't have any family that will get deployed, but I imagine it must be terrible).
