This is just such a great mystery! Where is he?Where could he have gone?Especially since he rang 000(like 911)for help to say he was lost..then not a trace since!
Its been 7 nights now..700+ police and varies other search and rescue teams looking for him..and still nothing!
Hes only 17,but even if he thinks that he is ok,you would think that seeing that the trak was only meant to be for 3 nights, after 7,he should have enough brains to think 'Well, maybe my parents are starting to worry'
Other theory is that he has possibly fallen off a cliff and to injured to call out for help etc
Of course everyone is just hoping the food/water/equipment that he had with him to last a few days is keeping him well and alive until found..

Wentworth Falls isn't too far away from where i live(Penrith, west of Sydney,at the base of the Blue Mountains)and yes,the landscape is quite vast and dangerous.

But where could a 17 year old go? Seperated from his family and friends for a week...not good!

Of course,*silly*police are saying 'well, maybe he just doesnt want to be found'

That is just totally not normal behaviour!

I only hope that they find him soon.

As a parent,i can;t even imagine if it was my child out there all alone!

This has been a very sad holiday season for many families who have had members get lost in dangerous situations.

In a bit of good news, we had an "Amber Alert" (sort of a public all-points-bulletin) for a missing three-year-old who was feared abducted by her father, and she was found safe and sound in less than a day.
Courage is the magic that turns dreams into reality.
