It's not that bad to me. The American playwright Tennessee Williams comes to mind so it's not without precedent. At least she spelled it the way it's supposed to be spelled and didn't "u-neek" it up.
I don't mind it (Tennessee). It's a lot better than most of the names on this thread. And, as someone else mentioned, at least it is spelled correctly!

I met a lady named Prussia today. She was no wheres near old enough for even her parents to have been from there.
