Hold onto your hats folks.  Spotted in my local paper today.  A girl:

Za'Briana Atlantius-Unique Johnson.  Yep, Za'Briana Atlantius-Unique.

Words fail...

ETA:  Oops--should have read further into the article.  Another girl, from the same family:

Ta'Y'anna Johnson.  Yes, a DOUBLE apostrophe!

I met a child today with the FIRST name of Medici.

It took a while to get my jaw off the ground on that one.  The strange part was the kid's last name was *VERY* Irish.

Really this is the legacy you want to tag your kid with

Saw one in an obituary the other day that one of the surviving children was named X'Alayan.

I met a lady named Prussia today.  She was no wheres near old enough for even her parents to have been from there.
Maybe they were from King of Prussia, in PA?
As long as it's not short for Prussian Blue (which is a holocaust denial related phrase)

first paragraph of this bit explains the reference.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prussian_Blue#History

I would have thought a reference to the colour, specially if the parents are artistic.

This is what I think of, but mostly because it was used in an episode of Royal Pains. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prussian_blue

In elementary school I had twin classmates named Timmy and Tommy.

Their full names were Timothy and Tomothy.

I know two girls name Rhyan (pronounced Ryan) and Charley (pronounced that way, forget how it is spelled exactly). A Canyon and Cash (boys), Donnelly - which I quite like but is unusual, Tatum (girl), Sadie, which is unusual around here too. Also an Audrey (girl) which took me a long time to remember because I wanted to call her AuBrey, since I had an uncle by that name. We also have a Rylee (girl) and I'm sure I am forgetting several others.

My coworker named her new baby girl Rhyan.  My sister wanted to name my nephew either Sawyer or Sutton if he was a girl.
