Yeh, I'm a supporter of unusual names, but I have to admit that while a lovely latin name that apparently enjoys some use in the Hispanic community- as a medical person I cringed at the thought of calling a daughter Candida. I saw it on a tv show credits and just thought....no, not for me.

But even recognized names can be ODD I met a toddler today with the first and last name of Henrietta Henry. It just does not seem to be quite "right"
It's specifically a yeast that commonly infects ones lady-parts.
I saw one today that made me go hmmmmm. One was a boy named Aksel (Axel I'm assuming).
I saw a Shamonica today at work. This would not normally seem too strange to me except somehow I misread it as Sharmonica, which made me think of a shameful harmonica (or a harmonica of shame). My mind goes all kooky about 2 pm.
