I had time to read the first 16 pages on the nursing site, and was fine throughout most.

But, the PB sandwich storage story was just....eewwwwww.....
Fear is temporary...Regret is forever.

Reading the nursing thread and I must have a stomach of steel b/c it's not grossing me out

Me too!  A couple did get me a bit queasy, but I just skipped over them.  The phleghm stories gross me out ,but the blood, poo, etc. don't at all.

The first thing I heard from my dad this morning was a groaned curse.  There was a great big pile of cat yack right in the middle of his computer chair.

And he sat in it.  ;D

Cat horked a hairball on our bed.  And guess who sat in it to put their shoes on?  Virtual cookies if you guessed Sirius.

Considering the title and content of this thread, the last thing I want are "cookies" (virtual or otherwise)... ;D

My roommate has two dogs that are house trained. However, one day she got held up at work, her boyfriend got held up at work and I had late classes. I got home that night to a certain smell. That smelly smell that means that the dogs really needed to go out but didn't get out in time.

My roomate's reaction when I texted her was pretty much "I'll deal with it when I get home unless you want to deal with it." I ran the dogs out so that they could at least pee, but there was no way I was going to clean up after them. I liberally sprayed air freshener and retreated into my room.

I have my limits.

Stumbling back to bed the other night, I stepped in something soft and cold. I thought I stepped in cat yack, and since I didn't want to bring it back to bed, I turned on a light to clean up my foot. I was oddly glad to see that it wasn't cat yack, but a poop-drop that must have fallen off later than expected. That just required a wiping, rather than a whole washing of the foot.

Life with a cat: alters your gross-out scale to the point where stepping in relatively dry poop only warrants a "meh."

Now our mom says she's changed her mind about the devil's brood, they may be evil so she thinks, but at least they're never rude...
